Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., a college Greek Letter Fraternity, was founded at Indiana University in 1911.  The Fraternity’s fundamental purpose is ‘Achievement’.  The Germany Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity was established in 1964.  The Chapter established its scholarship program to offer financial assistance primarily to dependents of military service members, Department of Defense (DoD) sponsored civilians and contractors who are graduating seniors at DoD Dependent Schools or an accredited school/program in Europe. The recipients of the 2024 scholarships will be individuals who are striving for ‘Achievement’. Since the inception of the program, over $500K in academic scholarships has been awarded to over 200 students. Apply today!

Criteria

Student Scholarship Recipients must:

 

 

  1. Have applied or been accepted into a technical program, two, or four-year college/university by the time a student submits this scholarship’s application.
  2. Have at least a cumulative 2.67 on a 4.0 scale or higher-Grade Point Average at the time of application.
  3. Be able to demonstrate the potential for or continued ‘Achievement’.
  4. Submit a completed application along with the required documents by 14 April 2024 at 23:59hrs.
  5. Awardees will receive additional guidance and requirements.

  • In one page or less, discuss how your primary academic interest or anticipated college major will help you obtain your professional/technical goals. Provide at least one example of past academic achievement and one example of leadership attributes that you have demonstrated in service to your school and / or community.
  • PART IV – Knowledge of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

  • What do you know about Kappa Alpha Psi? In your own words discuss why the Fraternity was founded, its purpose, and what the Fraternity is doing today?
  • PART V – ACADEMIC HONORS/AWARDS

  • List all academic honors/awards received to date.
  • PART VI – EXTRACURRICULAR AND CIVIL SERVICE ACTIVITIES

  • List all extracurricular and civil service activities in which you have participated, extent of involvement, leadership positions held and milestones achieved.
